The English FA is reportedly considering whether to move some of this season's crucial end-of-term English Premier League games to avoid a clash with the FA Cup final at Wembley.
According to BBC Sport, English football's governing body is anxious to ensure attention is not deflected away from the showpiece event on May 14th 2010, but has no intention of shifting it from its long-established 15:00 BST kick-off time.
"Once the FA has decided what time the final is to be played, we will schedule our matches around that," an English Premier League spokesman said. "We will give as much advance notice as possible to fans."
Wembley will also host the UEFA Champions League final in May, giving the FA little room for manoeuvre as the FA Cup showdown must take place on the date it is currently scheduled for.
Last month, it emerged that English Premier League games may be rearranged if the 2012 Olympic Games overlap with the start of the subsequent football season.
