Tottenham Hotspur 'consider additional football sponsorship deals'

Tottenham Hotspur are currently pondering whether to arrange "three or four" football sponsorship deals for next season, according to a report.

An article in the News of the World claimed the English Premier League football club have not received any individual offers of more than £10 million per season and the team could play with multiple logos on their shirts from August.

"We are working hard to deliver international partnerships for the club, improved operations and choice for the fans," a spokesman said. "Increased commercial deals will translate into investment in all areas of the club - on and off the pitch."

The delay could mean Tottenham Hotspur go into the new season without a shirt sponsor, but the board of directors is believed to be hoping an agreement can be reached within the next two or three weeks.

Plans for an overhaul of the London side's White Hart Lane stadium are still under consideration by Haringey Council.
