Scottish Premier League chiefs have revealed they are currently debating whether to move some evening matches to 19:00, as part of an effort to attract more families to the country's football grounds.
Edinburgh side Heart of Midlothian will experiment with the new system when English Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers play a friendly at Tynecastle in August, the Scotsman has reported.
"We are working with all the clubs to look at how we can make the game more attractive, in particular to families," communications manager Greg Mailer explained. "The possibility of 19:00 kick-offs was floated [at a recent meeting]."
He added that the Scottish Premier League will consider the various implications of moving kick-off times of particular fixtures, but said league bosses are eager to entice more youngsters to football clubs across Scotland.
Last week, Scottish champions Rangers revealed takeover talks with English property tycoon Andrew Ellis had fallen through.
