Bradford City's joint chairman Mark Lawn has moved to quash rumours of an impending change of ownership at the League Two club.
Speaking to the Bradford Telegraph & Argus, Lawn said he and fellow chairman Julian Rhodes would be willing to step down if they received the right offer, but suggested some parties had failed to follow up on their initial interest.
"We've put all our money in and can't invest any more than what we've got," he explained. "If someone could, we'd do what we feel is best for this club. But you have to make sure that people are serious."
Lawn insisted that Bradford City are not burdened by any debts other than a personal £1 million loan and claimed any buyout of the Yorkshire outfit would be "fairly cheap".
Last month, he told BBC Radio Leeds that fans could expect to see "two or three" new additions to the playing squad at Valley Parade during the close season.
