St Mirren captain John Potter has said that a reported dispute over bonuses is no longer an issue as his team prepare for the Co-operative Insurance Cup final this weekend.
The club's directors took the decision to reduce the squad's bonuses after their semi-final win over Heart of Midlothian, which resulted in the players earning £600 less than they had for overcoming Motherwell in the quarter-finals.
However, Potter told BBC Sport: "We're going to be as professional as we can and that's to try to win a national competition."
It was reported in February that the Buddies players demanded talks with the board of directors after apparently receiving a bonus of £1,000 each for their semi-final victory.
St Mirren manager Gus MacPherson has also insisted that the row will not prove a distraction for his team as they prepare for the cup final against Rangers at Hampden Park on Sunday (March 21st).
