League One's Southend United could be the most successful club at this year's Football League Awards after receiving six nominations.
A total of 35 clubs appear on the shortlists for the gala ceremony, which will take place at Grosvenor House in London on March 14th.
Southend United topped the chart of clubs with multiple nominations after being shortlisted for family club of the year in League One, best marketing campaign, best matchday programme and community club of the year.
The Essex side also received two nominations in the Football League Trust best community project category.
Meanwhile, Huddersfield Town and Nottingham Forest were both nominated for five different awards.
"I congratulate all clubs who have made the shortlists for this year's event. The number and quality of entries has been outstanding," said Football League chairman Lord Mawhinney.
Southend United are currently locked in a dispute with HM Revenue & Customs over tax payments and had a winding-up order adjourned by the High Court for 28 days earlier this week.
