Morecambe have revealed that their new 6,000-capacity stadium is to be named the Globe Arena.
The £12 million ground in Westgate will bear the name of builder Globe Construction, which has agreed a five-year football sponsorship deal with the League Two outfit.
In addition, Morecambe have launched a new club crest, featuring a large shrimp on a bright red background to reflect the Lancashire side's nickname.
The new logo was designed following a consultation with the club's supporters, Morecambe chairman Peter McGuigan explained.
He told the Lancashire Evening Post: "The new crest makes a bold statement about the club as it moves into its next exciting era.
"Our nickname is the Shrimps and the Shrimp logo is something our fans have always really identified with."
The Globe Arena, which will also be used for community sports activities, is set to be completed in time for the 2010-11 season.
Morecambe achieved Football League status for the first time in 2007, when they were promoted to League Two after defeating Exeter City in the Conference playoff final.
