Delia Smith has said that Norwich City will not consider selling Carrow Road to clear the club's debts.
Chairman Alan Bowkett recently suggested that having the stadium sold and leased back to the club could be an option for the Canaries, but majority shareholder Smith appeared to contradict this statement.
Speaking to BBC Radio Norfolk, the celebrity chef said: "No, we're not going to sell the ground.
"You have to keep the banks happy by saying 'well, you know, we have got this wonderful asset'. But absolutely not."
The League One club recently unveiled a £5 million loss for the last financial year, taking their total debts to £23 million.
Last week, Mike Reynolds of the Norwich City Supporters Trust told the Eastern Daily Press that putting Carrow Road on the market would amount to "selling off the family silver".
The ground has been the Norfolk side's home since 1935 and has a capacity of 26,000.
