Portsmouth supporters have been urged to join in and help the club prepare Fratton Park for this weekend's clash with Birmingham City.
The club issued a plea on its website yesterday (January 11th) asking fans to assist with clearing the stadium of snow and ice ahead of Saturday's English Premier League fixture.
According to the south coast side, every supporter who helps out will be rewarded with two free tickets for the match.
"Bring a shovel/spade and even a broom and wheelbarrow if you have them. Walkways, stairs and the pitch edge all need clearing," the club's statement read.
Portsmouth face Coventry City in an FA Cup third-round replay at the Ricoh Arena tonight.
Meanwhile, the English Premier League has played down fears of a major fixture pile-up following the postponement of seven games due to the extreme weather last weekend.
A league spokesperson told BBC Sport: "We'll work with clubs to reschedule fixtures as soon as practically possible."
