Plymouth Argyle have announced that the transfer embargo imposed on the club by the Football League last month has been lifted.
The Championship strugglers were banned from signing any new players due to outstanding debts in December, but they are now thought to have satisfied their creditors.
Although the embargo has rendered the Home Park outfit unable to make any moves in the transfer market so far this month, head coach Paul Mariner claimed earlier this week that he was unconcerned by the restrictions.
"I'm not too sure whether anything would have happened so quickly into the window," he told BBC Spotlight.
"We're still doing our research, we've got our list [of potential signings]."
Plymouth Argyle are currently 22nd in the Championship table with 21 points, three points above bottom club Peterborough United.
Mariner's side will travel to Queens Park Rangers for their next league game on Saturday (January 9th), weather permitting.
