This weekend's south London derby between Charlton Athletic and Millwall will be played in memory of murdered teenagers Rob Knox and Jimmy Mizen, it has been confirmed.
Both teams will replace the logo of their shirt sponsors with an advert for the Street Violence Ruins Lives campaign before the League One match at The Valley on Saturday (December 19th).
Speaking to BBC London 94.9 this week, Millwall striker Neil Harris described the game as "a fantastic opportunity for south London to send out a message between two rival clubs".
Meanwhile, Charlton Athletic chief executive Steve Waggott said that the gesture should "help to raise the issue" of street violence in the wider community.
Millwall will make the short trip to The Valley for the first time in 13 years at the weekend.
Addicks fan Knox was stabbed to death outside a Sidcup bar in May last year, while Mizen, a Millwall supporter, died after being attacked in a south London bakery during the same month.
