Cardiff City are offering to refund season ticket purchases for the 2010-11 campaign if they win promotion to the English Premier League.
All Bluebirds supporters who buy a season ticket before December 31st will be reimbursed, providing the club achieve their dream of playing in the top-flight next year.
In a statement on the club website, manager Dave Jones revealed that he suggested the offer to the board as a method of raising money to strengthen his squad in January.
"The offer is a no-brainer because if we get to the Premier League then fans will watch top-flight football for nothing," he commented.
"If it doesn't happen, then fans can still buy [season tickets] and support the club."
A winding-up order against Cardiff City was dismissed by the High Court yesterday (December 16th) after it emerged that the club has already settled its debt with HM Revenue & Customs.
Jones' side are currently third in the Championship - ten points behind leaders Newcastle United - and play Leicester City at home on Saturday.
