Portsmouth's players have been forced to wait for their wages for the second time this season.
A statement released by the troubled south coast club yesterday (December 3rd) confirmed that "the majority of the first-team squad" were yet to receive salary payments for November.
It added: "A proportion of their wages will be paid tomorrow with the club's new owners working towards paying the remainder over the next few days."
Portsmouth, who are currently three points adrift at the bottom of the English Premier League table and play Burnley at Fratton Park on Saturday, also failed to pay their players on time in September.
The league placed a transfer embargo on the club in late October that will only be removed once Portsmouth settle their outstanding debts with other teams.
However, new manager Avram Grant told BBC Radio Solent earlier this week that he is confident of making new signings in January.
Chief executive Peter Storrie has also said that the embargo "should certainly be lifted in time for the [transfer] window opening".
