The Republic of Ireland could be in line to receive compensation of some sort due to the fact that they have missed out on the FIFA World Cup, it has been suggested.
A controversial handball by Thierry Henry during the build-up to a goal by William Gallas resulted in Giovanni Trapattoni's side being defeated by France during their playoff last month.
Requests for a replay of the game and an extra spot in the FIFA World Cup finals have both been rejected by FIFA.
Sky Sports News notes that the issue has continued "to drag on" and that Sepp Blatter has said that he would back the Ireland squad's cause for "moral compensation".
However, he has ruled out the offer of any form of fiscal compensation.
The sport's governing body is due to meet with the Football Association of Ireland to talk about the matter and, according to the news provider, offer a "symbolic award" to the side due to Henry's actions.
France are in pot 4 in the World Cup draw, which is due to take place tomorrow.
