Crystal Palace could experience a player exodus in January as chairman Simon Jordan attempts to stave off administration, it has been claimed.

According to the Daily Star, Jordan aims to raise £5 million by selling highly-rated young players such as Victor Moses and Sean Scannell in the January transfer window.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror reports that the Eagles chairman has drafted in the First Artist agency to oversee a major departure of players from the south London club.

The newspaper states that Jordan is looking to "balance the books" at Crystal Palace, who are currently 13th in the Championship table.

Earlier this month, the 41-year-old bemoaned falling attendance levels at Selhurst Park and claimed that average gates of approximatley 15,000 are costing the club about £5 million a year in lost revenue.

He told the Evening Standard: "If we had crowds of 25,000 coming through the gate every week then how much extra would that bring in a year? I think about £5 million or £6 million, and just think what we could do with that."

Crystal Palace travel to Coventry City for their next Championship fixture on Saturday (November 21st).
