Football freestylers play Guitar Hero

Five of the UK's top football freestylers were recently assembled to take part in a special experiment based on the popular console game Guitar Hero.

Developed by Sony BMG in partnership with sportswear brand Umbro, Kasabian Football Hero was created to promote Underdog, the new single from the Leicester indie band.

The five freestyle footballers were required to hit a series of giant target pads in time with the track, eventually managing to achieve an accuracy score of 76 per cent on the 17th attempt.

Kasabian Football Hero has been watched over 631,900 times since it was uploaded to YouTube on October 22nd.

Now, Football Fans Census is conducting a new football fans survey to find out which five players would be the most popular choice for a Football Hero team.

Fans taking part in the survey are asked to name the five current players they would select for the game, as well as the five footballers from any era that they think could make the grade.
