A fanatical Motherwell fan has officially changed his name to reflect his passion for the Scottish Premier League club.
Frazer Boyle from Coltness in North Lanarkshire will now be known as Motherwell Football Club after paying £33 to change his name by deed poll.
The 20-year-old football fan, who has travelled around Europe to support Motherwell and attended games at Fir Park for the last 11 years, has applied for a driving licence and passport under his new moniker.
He explained: "I've been Motherwell daft since my grandfather started taking me when I was just nine.
"I am the only Motherwell fan in the house so I don't think anyone understands why I did it."
The Scottish student's mother Hazel said she was initially shocked by her son's name change but has now come to terms with his choice.
Portsmouth supporter John Westwood, a familiar sight to football fans at Fratton Park, changed his middle names to Portsmouth Football Club by deed poll in 1989.
