A group of football fans from the north-west have raised money for a local charity by completing a hike between three of the region's stadiums.
In a novel variation on the Three Peaks challenge, Tony Shufflebottom, Gary Pickard and Paul Blackburn walked from Ewood Park to the Crown Ground before heading on to Turf Moor, the Lancashire Telegraph reports.
Their trek between the home grounds of Blackburn Rovers, Accrington Stanley and Burnley generated £767 for the Pendleside Hospice in nearby Reedley.
According to the newspaper, the trio completed their Three Stadium hike to celebrate Burnley's recent promotion to the English Premier League.
Last month, West Ham United fan Chris Rowe revealed plans to dribble a football all the way from Billericay in south Essex to Upton Park as a charity fundraiser.
The 40-year-old father of three organised the trip to generate funds for the Richard House children's hospice in Beckton, east London.
