A group of Swindon Town supporters attended the League One side's home game against Southend United on Saturday (August 29th) wearing Hawaiian shirts and walked away with free match tickets.
Fan Rosie Brasier received two sponsor's suite hospitality tickets for the upcoming match against Colchester United as part of the Swindon Town Football Club Beach Party, the Swindon Advertiser reports.
As well as the chance to win match tickets, the party featured a best-dressed competition, a beach volleyball game, candy floss vendors and live music.
Ms Brasier said that the event had succeeded in promoting a family-friendly atmosphere at the County Ground.
"Although my husband didn't bother to dress up, the kids and I had a ball taking part in the event," she told the newspaper.
"It was a bit of fun - a bit cold at times but the sun was out for most of the day making it fine."
The day was particularly enjoyable for Swindon Town fans taking part in the beach party, as the Wiltshire club won the match against Southend United 2-1.
Swindon Town have picked up eight points from their opening five games and are currently eighth in the League One table.
