Media reports that suggest AC Milan could be set for a change of ownership have been rubbished by club vice-president Adriano Galliani.
Various rumours have circulated suggesting that Galliani and a group of Israeli investors have put together plans to replace current president Silvio Berlusconi.
The club have failed to make significant inroads in the transfer market despite selling Kaka to Real Madrid for £56 million, with US defender Oguchi Onyewu a rare signing on a free transfer.
It is believed that Berlusconi, who is also the Italian prime minister, is against spending big money as it may set the wrong example during the financial crisis.
Thus, it has been predicted that a change may be around the corner.
However, according to Football Italia, Galliani said: "This story is completely unfounded, even worse than false.
"The rapport with President Berlusconi is unbreakable and has been going strong since November 1st 1979."
Milan have won the Serie A title on 17 occasions in the past but could only finish third last season behind local rivals Inter Milan.
