Manchester United have stated that they will gladly return to Indonesia again in the future, despite terror attacks preventing the club from playing their scheduled friendly recently.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side have a large following across Asia, which contributes greatly to their global appeal.

However, a vast number of fans in Indonesia were unable to watch their team live as planned this week due to the terrorism problem, with the club ending up staying in Malaysia to play a second game rather than travelling to Jakarta.

Manchester United chief executive David Gill said: "Without doubt we would one day like to repay the loyalty of the Indonesian fans.

"We were looking forward to going there and if we can go back one day we would like to but we can't make a commitment because we only do these major tours every two years. But we will look at it very seriously."

Kumho Tires is the football sponsor for the English Premier League outfit's Asia tour, with the next match taking place against FC Seoul on July 24th.
