Smaller attendances will be a feature Hereford United's Edgar Street stadium in the coming season after the ground failed a health and safety inspection.
Half of the Blackfriars End is normally filled by away supporters at matches, but for the team's arrival back in League Two this season, the end will be closed.
Those that have already bought season tickets in the stand for the upcoming season will be contacted by the club, with the end due to be closed for the whole of the 2009/10 campaign.
Speaking to the club's website, chairman Graham Turner revealed that despite the closure and some minor problems with other parts of the ground, he remains optimistic that capacity will remain above 5,000 the minimum capacity under Football League regulations.
Among the other decisions made under the inspection were that additional walkways were needed in the Cargill Community Stand and no supporters can stand on the flat areas of the Meadow End terrace.
Hereford United finished bottom of League One last season despite striker Steve Guinan scoring 15 league goals.
