Livingston chairman Angelo Massone has urged all those interested in taking over the club to pull together to prevent the ailing Scottish First Division side from falling into administration.

The club owes West Lothian Council £280,000 in stadium rent arrears and this sum needs to be paid by tomorrow (June 30th) or Livingston face being evicted.

Fans group the Livi for Life Trust has revealed that it will support any new owner, while former Dumbarton chairman Neil Rankine and Cowdenbeath owner Gordon McDougall have expressed an interest in taking over.

Massone revealed in a statement on the Livingston website: "The future of Livingston Football Club is more important than any other matter. Now is the time to save the club and overcome any divisions or squabbles that have occurred in the past.

"Let us all gather around a table, stand united, save Livingston Football Club and manage the club together."

The club recently staved off the immediate threat of administration by paying the council £10,000 for the use of the Almondvale Stadium.
