Manchester United have signed another commercial deal with Chinese electronics manufacturer Aigo, following its recent world record football sponsorship agreement with Aon.

The new five-year commercial deal with Aigo will see the manufacturer promote co-branded products in the region, such as digital cameras, data storage devices and multimedia players.

Manchester United failed to reveal the financial details of the deal but did indicate that it was "up there" with their largest commercial contracts,

The club's commercial director Richard Arnold said: "China has always been something of a second home for Manchester United.

"We have been to China on tour five times in the last decade. Now we have found our first Chinese partner to join our family. Some 71 million of our 330 million fans worldwide live in China."

Meanwhile, Manchester United will head to China next month to take on the country's Super League side Hangzhou Greentown in a bid to win the Aigo Cup.

Manchester United have also sealed football sponsorship deals with companies including Nike, Betfred and Audi.
