Northwich Victoria have been successful in an appeal against the decision to remove them from competing in the Blue Square North next season.
Owner of the club Jim Rushe appealed to the FA after being told by the Football Conference that they would not be made members of the league because of financial issues.
Back in May, the club was accused of breaking finance rules, with an administrative order supposedly being placed after the scheduled cut-off date.
However, the club has won its hearing with the FA to be brought back into the league, although they will have to start the next campaign with a ten-point penalty.
A brief statement from the FA revealed: "The Conference considered the club was not eligible for membership of the competition for the 2009/10 season following an insolvency event suffered by the club in May.
"The FA panel upheld the club's appeal, but amended the Conference's decision. It determined, in this case, that the club was eligible for membership but decided it should start next season in Conference North on minus ten points."
Northwich Victoria ended this season with a six-game winning streak but this was not enough to prevent them from being relegated from the Blue Square Premier League.
