Queens Park Rangers has renewed its contact with Ticketmaster, which will provide the club with a boost in coordinating its ticketing services.

The deal will see the Championship side benefit from Ticketmaster's access control system AccessManager and TicketFast technology.

Part of the agreement will see a change to the way season tickets are handed out with fans now to receive bar-coded season ticket cards rather than a season ticket voucher book.

Meanwhile, supporters who buy their matchday tickets online will also be able to print their tickets at home before presenting them at the turnstiles.

Chris Edmonds, managing director at Ticketmaster UK, said: "We are excited by the opportunity to extend our already excellent relationship with Queens Park Rangers Football Club.

"[The development] allows QPR to make full use of our continued investment in innovative ticketing solutions, which will ultimately benefit their fans as well."

Dexter Blackstock finished this season as Queens Park Rangers' top league goalscorer with 11 goals, despite moving to fellow Championship club Nottingham Forest on loan in March.
