Some 185,000 applications have been made by football fans during the first eight hours of the second sales phase ahead of the 2010 Football World Cup.
Around 100,000 of these applications were for individual match tickets, while the remainder were requested under the team-specific ticket series.
Tickets for the first game in South Africa next year ranged in price, with the best seats priced at $380, while the more general seats behind the goal will cost an interested spectator $60.
Meanwhile, for the final these prices both rise, with the top seats costing $757 and the standard seats increasing to $126.
Over 1.6 million ticket applications were made during the first sales phase between February 20th and March 21st.
Phase three of the sales process is set to begin later this year on December 5th and run until January 22nd, while phase four opens on February 9th next year and ends on April 7th.
Italy won the last World Cup in 2006 after beating France on penalties in the final.
