A draw is to be held to see who will become the football sponsors at League One club Bristol Rovers next season, it has emerged.
Cowlin Construction has decided not to renew its sponsorship deal following 11 years at the club, meaning that a unique process has been set up to find a new sponsor.
A maximum of 100 tickets are to be sold at £1,000 to local businesses, with the winner getting their name emblazoned on Bristol Rovers' home shirt next season.
Those drawn out second will have their name printed on the away shirt and third out of the hat will get a free perimeter advertising board at the club's Memorial Stadium for a season.
Rovers' commercial director Barry Bradshaw said: "Obviously money is tight at the moment, so we decided to be creative and try something a bit different.
"We have always known that there are lots of local businesses who would love to come on board but have been put off by the high prices of shirt sponsorship."
Ricky Lambert finished as Bristol Rovers' top scorer this season after firing 29 goals in League One.
