Andy Burnham has stated his disappointment at the number of tickets being given to Chelsea and Everton ahead of this season's upcoming FA Cup final.

Despite Wembley being a 90,000 seater stadium, both of the two finalists have only received 25,000 tickets each to pass on to fans.

This means that the extra 40,000 tickets will be given in the direction of what is deemed as the 'football family' including sponsors and large corporations.

The secretary for culture, media and sport said: "Yes, I'm very disappointed.

"At that level I don't think we are covering our season ticket holders and shareholders. I know the FA have a difficult job to do but the FA Cup final is about the fans."

It was recently revealed that tickets were already being sold online for the FA Cup final, with some on the market for over £1,000.

Everton chief executive Robert Elstone recently added that the ticket allocation was not enough and fans would end up having to approach touts in a bid to get a seat at the final on May 30th.
