With Cardiff leaving their Ninian Park home at the end of the season, Celtic and Spanish giants Valencia have been named as the likely first two visitors to their new ground.
Named the Cardiff City Stadium, the new ground is expected to be able to potentially reach a capacity of 27,000, which will increase to this level over the pre-season campaign to fit in with health and safety requirements.
Gordon Strachan's Celtic are expected to come to Wales for a game on July 22nd, while the Valencia showdown has been pencilled in for August 1st, according to Wales Online.
The Bluebirds are set to welcome non-league outfit Chasetown first on July 10th before setting off on a tour of Portugal before the Celtic game.
Valencia's visit to Cardiff has been arranged just one week before the start of the next Championship season, although the club are still harbouring hopes of playing in the Premier League next year.
Cardiff currently lie in fourth place in the Championship with three games remaining, the first of which is a visit to Charlton tonight.
