Weymouth boss Alan Lewer has revealed that a number of the club's players are on the brink of leaving today (February 23rd), BBC Radio Solent reports.
The crisis-ridden Blue Square Premier club has not paid its players so far this year and they had already previously issued a 14-day demand to receive their wages.
Furthermore, many refused to turn out for Saturday's clash with Rushden, resulting in Lewer being forced to send out an academy team which was subsequently thrashed 9-0.
Lewer told the news provider: "Unless the players are paid by midnight on Monday then they are gone."
The fixture was set to be Lewer's last in charge but he has now vowed to fight on and bring in new players, despite the fact that chief executive Gary Calder has already announced his resignation.
The Terras launched a scheme last week which will see them attempt to sell a million shares at 50p apiece as they look to pay off debts thought to total around £300,000.
