Fans of Northern Ireland will be able to see coverage of their team's vital World Cup qualifying clash in San Marino on terrestrial television, it was confirmed today (February 6th).
BBC Two Northern Ireland will broadcast the Group Three clash against the minnows - who were trounced 4-0 in the reverse fixture at Windsor Park - on February 11th.
The programme will air at 19:00 GMT, half an hour ahead of kick-off, while there will also be live coverage on Radio Ulster and online, where fans can access the 'Road to South Africa 2010' link.
Shane Glynn, editor of BBC Sport Northern Ireland, said: "We're always looking at ways of bringing local sports fans the best sports coverage and we were delighted to have been able to secure the live televised rights to this game when they became available in what is an extremely competitive marketplace."
Mr Glynn added that he was eagerly anticipating providing fans with live coverage of Nigel Worthington's side in what he described as a "tough" group.
Goals from David Healy, Grant McCann, Kyle Lafferty and Steve Davis were enough to give Northern Ireland a comfortable win in the first contest last October.
