Livingston players may refuse to turn out for their clash with Ross County at Almondvale on Saturday (January 31st) over a dispute relating to wages, the BBC reports.
The club, who are currently in fourth place in the Scottish First Division, have failed to pay their players on schedule for the fifth time in seven months, an unnamed squad member has told BBC Scotland.
The player reportedly added that Livi have claimed the wages will be paid in full by the following Monday, despite the fact that chairman Angelo Massone is currently in Italy.
Massone is part of an Italian consortium which bought the West Lothian club last summer and has recently moved to dismiss fears over the state of its finances.
He sacked boss Roberto Landi at the start of December with the side sitting in fifth place in the table - six points adrift from the summit - and appointed Paul Hegarty in his place.
Livingston's finest hour came in 2004, when they defeated Hibernian 2-0 at Hampden to clinch the Scottish League Cup.
