Football fans across the country are continuing to be left frustrated as the cold snap has forced a number of fixtures set for tonight (January 6th) to be called off.
The freezing temperatures mean that league games at Crewe's Gresty Road, Stockport's Edgeley Park, Peterborough's London Road and Exeter's St James Park have been postponed.
Indeed, the only fixture which will go ahead is Tottenham's League Cup semi-final first leg clash at White Hart Lane against Championship promotion hopefuls Burnley.
The latest round of cancellations come after a number of fans were left frustrated over the weekend when their sides' FA Cup third-round matches were called off as a result of the weather.
Birmingham fans, for example, bombarded radio phone-ins to express their dismay that the derby with Wolves at St Andrew's was called off after an 11.45 GMT pitch inspection.
Their ire was particularly fuelled by the fact that the clash between West Bromwich Albion and Peterborough went ahead at the Hawthorns - situated barely five miles away.
The Blues have since confirmed that they are likely to install undersoil heating at a cost of between £100,000 and £400,000.
