Monthly salaries which Livingston players were due to have paid to them by Christmas Day have again failed to materialise.
According to the Scotsman, the playing staff are paid on the last Thursday of every month (a date which coincided with Christmas Day this year). This was put back on the day to yesterday (December 29th) but again the wages failed to go through.
The players have been told to check their bank accounts again on January 5th but the new date is unlikely to appease a squad which, the newspaper reports has only been paid on time twice all season.
Younger squad members are particularly unhappy with the situation.
The financial troubles are unlikely to improve club spirit ahead of tonight's rearranged fixture against Dunfermline.
Livingston are currently being sued by former owner Pearse Flynn, who left in the summer.
The club has since been taken over by Italian owners.
