Chelsea confirmed on Sunday (November 30th) that they have signed a four-year extension to their deal with Thomas Cook, reported to be worth between £6 million and £7 million.
The new terms of the partnership - which began in 2006 - represent a major coup by the Blues, who had previously been receiving around £750,000 per season from the travel company.
The deal will see Thomas Cook retain responsibility for team, staff, corporate and supporter travel arrangements, while fans will be offered packages for away Premier League and Champions League fixtures.
Manny Fontenla-Novoa, group chief executive of the firm, said: "Re-signing with Chelsea takes our relationship to a whole new level.
"We've enjoyed a fantastic partnership with the club so far, and this announcement will ensure that we provide an unrivalled service to the club and its supporters for years to come."
'Match Break' deals - which offer a minimum of one night's accommodation, match ticket and programme for home fixtures at Stamford Bridge - are also included in the deal.
Speaking at the press conference to announce the deal, Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon claimed that the club will be self-sufficient by next season.
