QPR decrease ticket prices but Briatore fumes

Queens Park Rangers vice-chairman Amit Bhatia has announced that the club is planning to decrease ticket prices at Loftus Road.

The Championship side came under fire recently after attempting to hike up prices for a home fixture against Derby, despite the two parties have reached agreement on the issue in pre-season.

The rises never materialised, but with home fans as enraged as visiting supporters about the debacle - not least because the club now has mega-rich owners - Bhatia has decided to take action.

He indicated that he sympathises with fans' concerns and confirmed that all subsequent matches at Loftus Road this season will be downgraded to class C, thus eliminating the two most costly bands.

However, it has been reported since that chairman Flavio Briatore is incensed with the move as he failed to give Bhatia his blessing before he went public with the news.

QPR also parted company with manager Iain Dowie today (October 24th) after giving their former striker just 15 games at the helm.
