Bundesliga side Hertha BSC have announced today (October 1st) that they have extended their sponsorship deal with telecommunications company Arcor.
At present, the partnership, developed by SPORTFIVE, gives the firm the opportunity to base a number of advertising campaigns around the Berlin-based club.
Under the new deal, Arcor will be given a box at the Olympic Stadium and will be able to the slogan 'exclusive partner of Hertha BSC' for its upcoming promotional projects.
Club chairman Dieter Hoeness said: "Arcor and Hertha BSC are longstanding and reliable partners whose cooperation is based on mutual confidence and trust.
"I am therefore very happy to be able to continue our collaboration. We look forward to celebrating many shared victories this season."
Jens Wagner, head of the Arcor AG & Co KG press office, confirmed that the extension of the deal will see Hertha fans given a range of benefits, such as two tickets to a home game if they set up a DSL connection at one of the company's stores.
