Wycombe receive customer service award

Wycombe Wanderers last night (September 24th) won a prestigious award to recognise the service it provides fans at Adams Park, it has been confirmed.

The League Two side received the Customer Service Team of the Year - Leisure and Tourism Award at the National Customer Service Awards 2008 at the Grosvenor House Hotel.

The result - which was announced in front of 1,700 customer service professionals - sees the Chairboys join an impressive list of previous winners which includes NatWest, Eurostar (UK) and Abel & Cole.

The club's managing director Steve Hayes said: "It is yet another superb honour for the club, and this one is just as thoroughly deserved as the others.

"We are always striving to make our customer service one of the best in the country, not just in football but in any industry."

Wycombe were placed in line for the award after receiving the Football League's League Two Family Club of the Year award, which recognises their efforts at providing the best match day experience for youngsters and families.
