Derby County have announced today (September 18th) that they are rejecting the ticket prices set by QPR for their clash at Loftus Road on September 27th.
The Rams claim that they were informed in pre-season that the tickets would be priced at £30 for adults and £20 for concessions.
However, spokesman Matt McCann explained that Rangers have sent through a batch of tickets which are all £10 higher than the agreed prices.
He said: "We have stood our ground and QPR have exercised their right to appeal that to the Football League.
"One of our biggest frustrations is the inconvenience it's causing fans. With going to London supporters may want to book a weekend and make an occasion of it.
"We expect a decision within 24 hours but either way, we will make sure our supporters aren't the victims of this situation."
QPR recently revealed that they have reviewed the ticket pricing structure and will now be charge adult fans between £20 and £50 to attend matches at Loftus Road.
