Liverpool football supporters are being urged to get behind a scheme that could see fans take control of the club.
ShareLiverpoolFC plans to encourage fans to register an interest in the scheme that hopes to dislodge the club's American owners and give fans the power.
Rogan Taylor, the organisation's founder member, told the Liverpool Echo that an "enormous amount of work" has been going on to ensure that they can make a realistic opposition to the club's owners.
"We had 28,000 people initially show interest in buying a share in the club. Now we want those people to visit our new website and register some details.
"We don't want any money. That will only come when a deal is in place. We want commitments," he added.
A meeting this week will see the group attempt to convince fans that the concept has become financially sound.
The new developments will see the organisation increase its membership to provide the financial backing to purchase the club.
Several big name speakers will attend the meeting including ex-players and Andy Burnham, secretary of state for culture, media and sport.
