The Scottish Football Association (SFA) has secured the biggest TV deal in its history after announcing that Sky Sports and the BBC have won the rights to broadcast international and Scottish Cup fixtures.
The deal will be worth between £55 and £60 million over four years and will be used to make investments in the future of Scottish football.
Scotland home matches will be broadcast live by Sky Sports with the BBC allocated a highlights package.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports will also show nine live Scottish Cup matches per season with the BBC screening five, including the final.
Sky Sports will get first pick of the cup games and replays while the BBC will take second choice.
Gordon Smith, chief executive of the SFA, said that the new deal would allow Scottish football to reach new levels and said he was optimistic about the future.
"Getting kids to play the game will make us a prouder, healthier nation and will, of course, give us an even better chance to qualify for major championships and taste success at club level," he told the SFA website.
