New Era has signed a deal to sponsor the headline conference of the Leaders in Football event hosted by Chelsea this October.

The conference will be opened by the chairman of the Football Association (FA), Lord Triseman, and it will feature several key speakers.

The Premier League, Major League Soccer (MLS), Chelsea, the Association of European Professional Football Leagues and the NBA will all be represented by speakers.

Delegates attending the conference can experience ten workshops supplementing the main programme.

Richard Scudamore, chief executive officer of the Premier League, will be speaking about building a global competition while Bruce Buck and Frank Arnesen from Chelsea will discuss the competition for players.

New Era manages licences with clubs across the globe including Manchester United and Barcelona and will sponsor the event running on October 7th and 8th.

The Leaders in Football conference brings together some of the game's most influential figures to discuss the commercial development of the sport.
