As the beginning of the new football season approaches, all areas of the clubs will be preparing to compete - including the kitchens.
Football grounds across the UK are competing to find the best board room cooking by taking part in the Football Culinary Challenge.
According to reports in the Guardian, the competition sees club chefs compete against each other until a final in January.
Top chefs from the Football League teams will enter the contest and try and construct a three-course feast in just 75 minutes.
Showing the evolution of football and food, the event showcases the best stadium chefs.
Martyn Hodgetts, head chef at Southampton and winner of the title in 2008, said it was about efficiency.
"Giving the maximum visual impact in the minimum moves speeds the process, allowing you more time to spend on cooking the food," he explained.
