Aston Villa's corporate packages have been snapped up by 'blue chip' supporters in a move that will directly benefit the playing squad.
According to reports from the Birmingham Post, fans buying corporate packages have added even more financial clout to Villa and this money will be used for new signings.
Executive memberships have doubled for its new corporate facilities, which included four new executive lounges as part of refurbishment of the Trinity Road stand.
Construction of the new development is expected to be completed by the beginning of the new season with builders working on the site around the clock.
Within the new development, corporate fans can benefit from a director's lounge, McGregors suite, Trinity Suite and the 82 Lounge.
"Executive membership sales for the coming season are already 100 per cent up year-on-year," Alison Plant, head of hospitality, told the newspaper.
The club has also received interest from fans looking to snap up the 24,000 season tickets available at Villa Park.
A waiting list has been formed, despite the fact that the club decided to increase ticket prices by about six per cent.
