Shrewsbury Town are one step away from drawing a line under the move to their new stadium, with only the official name to be decided on.

The club, who left Gay Meadow to play at their new stadium at Oteley Road last season, have yet to decide on the official name of the stadium, which needs to be agreed by both the team and the club's sponsor.

Speaking to BBC Radio Shropshire, a spokesperson for Shrewsbury Town announced: "We're not in a position to say who's got the naming rights just yet.

"We are on the home straight in negotiations. Subject to fine print, we should be able to announce it soon."
