Birmingham City owner David Sullivan has criticised the police over the way they handled his and Karen Brady's arrests.
The co-owners were taken in for questioning last week as part of an "ongoing investigation into corruption".
The case centred on an agent and two footballers, although the directors are not accused of benefiting directly.
Mr Sullivan has since criticised the City of London Police for its handling of the issue.
"I'm shocked by the whole thing. The police statement was very unfair. This is a complicated tax matter", he told the FAN FC.
"We have absolutely nothing to hide. We have done nothing wrong, and we think in due course this will be proven," he added.
Trading in the club's shares was suspended last week at Birmingham City's request as a result of the arrests.
Portsmouth, Newcastle United and Rangers have also been searched as part of the investigation.
