Uefa president Michel Platini has criticised the growing number of foreign owners in European football.
The Frenchman has spoken out ahead of Champions League quarter finals, which will see four English teams take to the field.
However, as Platini pointed out, only one of those clubs have English owners, while Arsenal may well start their match with Liverpool without an English player in the team.
The president questioned the motives of Liverpool's George Gillett and Tom Hicks, while he said that he could not understand why Manchester City's Thaksin Shinawatra had chosen to invest in a club.
Platini did not just focus on the English game however, he said that changes should be made in Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany and Italy.
The Uefa president then moved on to criticising clubs who snatch young players away from foreign clubs.
He picked English clubs out as the worst offenders in this area, although they are breaking no current laws.
