The latest images of Brighton & Hove Albion's new stadium have been released, with a promise that work on it will begin at the end of 2008.
The £50 million Falmer Stadium will seat 22,000 fans and should be completed in time for the 2010/2011 season.
According to the club's chief executive, Martin Perry, the stadium design has been updated slightly.
It now provides better provision for disabled fans and a few other minor changes were also made to ensure the stadium met with legal requirements.
"It's obviously a very exciting time for the club. There was the fans forum last week where they were shown these new images and shown what's coming," Mr Perry told the BBC.
"We have updated the design. There has been major legislation in the last eight years and the plans meet the requirements.
"Everything is on track but there is an awful lot to do. We want to be on site by the end of the year, that's the target," he continued.
The club has revealed that season ticket holders will be allowed to visit the stadium before its completion to pick their seats.
