Chelsea manager Avram Grant wants his side to receive more respect following their progression to the Carling Cup final for the second year running.
Grant watched as his side beat Everton 1-0 in the semi-final second leg yesterday (January 23rd) but is unhappy with the perceived lack of praise his side is receiving.
It comes as his squad struggles with a large number of absentees, including captain John Terry and influential midfielder Frank Lampard.
Main striker Didier Drogba is also out for a while as he represents the Ivroy Coast at the African Cup of Nations.
Despite having to make do without arguably three of their best players, as well as others, Chelsea are still in the hunt for all four major trophies and Grant believes that his side should be respected for what they are managing to achieve.
"Everybody needs to respect what we are doing with all the problems," he told the BBC.
"We have won a lot of games, not only in the league, in the Champions League also and now we are in the Carling Cup final.
"And we have done it in a good way. It is not easy so I am happy," added the Israeli.
Chelsea secured their place in the Carling Cup final courtesy of a Joe Cole goal after they won the first leg 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
